Round 7 - South v West @ Noarlunga Sat 8th May

This looks to be a difficult game to predict a winner. South were disappointing against the Magpies but will be looking at notching up a win at home against West, who on their day, can beat anyone in the competition.
MY TIP: West by 9 points

Must win game for us this week.
Lose and we are just about gone - win and we're up with the pack.
West by 4 goals.

South will be better after a full week of recovery. Clearly showed against Magpies. I expect South to come out fresh and hungry. Westies have been good this year so will be a good game. South's midfield will need to lift a fair bit and put in as did against Eagles. If South do they will win if not they wont.

Peter Rolfe is an extremely talented footballer
His kicking style is very Nathan Brownesque

I am tipping South to win, yet dont deny that in order to do so the team will as a group yet again have to lift and show improvement, South by less than two goals for mine!

And I agree with Ron Fuller's comments that Peter COULD do alright on an AFL list, if given the opportunity, for mine has all the attributes of being a handy goalsneak / half forward at AFL level...
If he continues to show some good form and can stay injury free, he may be in the eyes of AFL scouts, even locally and the lad from Alice Springs may just get that chance on a list.

Unlike Brown he doesnt kick to well with his right foot. He is however lightening fast and is a greatkick on the run, a good size as well.

West play very well at Noarlunga.
We seem to do well against the top teams but the bottom 5 are the ones we struggle with.
West for me ...dont feel to confident after last weeks effort.
I think West are playing some good football ATM. Unlucky to win a few games.

Matty Lobbe dropped by the power, will be handy inclusion to the Bloods ruck brigade...

Looks like Pettigrew is the travelling emergency for the Power. I hope he plays for them or us and doesn't have to sit out a week.

I reckon Lobbe is just about the difference between us winning and us losing at the moment.

We'll win this and shove it up those West Adelaide supporters who are paying the price for getting ahead of themselves in the pre season and after Round 1 versus North Adelaide.
Lobbe is back - so what. Cockshell is the form ruckman in the comp and our pace will cut through West Adelaide's flood. The icing on the cake is that we have a coach who is going to be with us beyond this year whilst West Adelaide's coach heads back to Melbourne and a job with one of the colleges.
Suck it West supporters, you've missed your chance.
