from what i saw Cloke was outstanding in taking some important marks and kicking the ball a mile.

Milera he looked good, plenty of pace about him.

not sure south shouldve gone tall kicking into the breeze in the last 1/4

Good win for the Maggies with Clayton out, I reckon it would have been a bigger margin if he was in the lineup.
Still can't work out how South were favs on Alberton, they're ordinary and Port are comptetive IMHO but I didn't complain taking the bookies money.
:D

Nice mark of Warrens in the last quarter, should have kicked it though, funny watching the big fella, McKenna? have that bounce running into an open goal too!

Couldn't understand that one either. Sure they beat the Eagles, but got flogged the week before by North.

I'm sure the bookies are way out in front after the last week and a half. ;)

Cloke killed South absolutely had the ball on a string today not surprised at all that Port won, they are very young but have a red hot go.

I thought Cloke was EASILY the best man on the ground, absolutely fantastic for the Magpies...

If Cloke was easily BOG IMHO, then runner up BOG was EASILY Steve Summerton who was again impressive throught the Maggies midfield, along with Zane Kirkwood who continued with his great form so far this year.

Young Milera was an excitement machine and Ben Warren's mark was an absolute ripper wasn't it !!

Interesting that Jeremy Clayton pulled out* of the Magpies side half hour before the bounce for 'personal reasons' ??

Not sure if there is anything more in it than that, of course have been some whispers about him leaving to go out to a cashed up country club.

Matty Lokan was sitting in the stands pre-game and got a late call up to play, despite still being injured, which was couragous on his part. Not sure why though he didn't play in his usual number 17 jumper, ended up playing in the number 4 which is usually worn by the currently injured Jordan Erskine ?

Great win for the Maggies and the competition, such an amazangily even SANFL season so far, let's hope it continues on for the rest of the year.

Its no secret that he's wanted to leave the Magpies all year, in order to play for Mannum in the River Murray Football League.

Good day for Port with the reserves winning by a goal despite horrible inaccuracy - 10.19 (79) to 11.7 (73)
