Sturt were consistent. Kicked 0.1 to one end twice, so that's a positive!
Just goes to show what happens if you're 5% down on your game, or you are not mentally switched on when you cross the white line.
Every week we get at least one wobbler!

First Point: great work JAS with the score updates. Much more entertaining than the AwFuL game on the TV tonight.
Second Point: Sturt = overrated IMHO. Although they are the SANFL masters of being able to pull a Homer(simpsons fans)every now and then.
Well played Norwood. Is it a matter of some adjustment with the new coaches game plan???

Thank you and your welcome
Commiserations to the Sturt supporters...but OMG so happy, happy, happy.
I hope it is Bass' game plan starting to kick in and not a flash in the pan

time will tell I guess. Can't wait for the guys to get back from the game and give us their write-ups from both sides of the fence.
Regards
JAS

norwood = sensational & probably their best performance for years
sturt = abysMAL, obviously they can't get 'mentally up' for a lower ranked team
umpire richard harvey = a worse performance than sturt put up, if ever a bloke was trying to make a name for himself it was him, he isn't up to it & also doesn't know the hand signals for a 25 metre penalty either
bays will have to be totally focussed next week or we will feel the wrath of norwood as well

Undefeated since this comment before the Port game.

I wonder if there's any truth to the rumour it was printed out and stuck on the changeroom walls? If so thanks GoldenDynasty. You've turned our season around.
Well played Legs.

Words aren't enough. Best 2.5 hours of football in a loooooooooooooooong time. I'm talking years. Amazing.
Amazing.
Best players: Everyone. I mean that, everyone contributed. Rowe, Gags, Young, Phillips, Lower, K-Mac, I could go on, but you get it by now.
And lastly, no Jaensch, no Sturt.

We still can't get our game going against super floods/zones. We stop and second guess ourselves, leads to turnovers and Norwood, as with North and South and the Eagles were prepared to run harder once the turnover occured.
We hunt well but when we're hunted we look fragile.
I'm taking nothing away from Norwood nor am I saying that they shouldn't play that way. They were actually pretty good to watch once they ground us down and the game opened up. Congrats.

disagree voice about the flood, i think norwood beat you because of its tenacious & gang style tackling allowing sturt absolutely no room & the only flood i saw was an avalance of goals to norwood

No place for complacency
NW didnt come to play tonight and conceded a 1/4 time lead to ST
Bassett needs to tear strips of the players for taking ST so lightly
