Burnt the ball too many times in last 1/4. Just not good enough under pressure.

2 super important smothers in the last qtr helped save the game for Glenelg.

Thiele 0.7 for the season so far.

Very true

Thought North had the game in the bag at 3/4 time. Great effort by the bays.

Not having our number 1 ruckman, i thought north would win comfortably 4-5 goals

Button may not have had the strongest influence in ruck but was very good around the ground

Despite losing by less than a goal North look a much better side than the one that was handed a belting by the Bloods in round 1, for Glenelg to pick up an away win like that was a fantastic effort irrespective of who kicked straighter. I have to admit, the Bays are not looking in to bad a nick at the moment!

North Adelaide looked the better team on the day in general field play, but Glenelg got them where it mattered most, the scoreboard. Would North Adelaide loan Jim Allan to Norwood for Sunday's game? He's just what we need :)

footy is a team game, can't blame 1 player.
I can think of many other North players who cost us goals.
Kicking 1 goal after half time is nowhere near good enough.

at 3/4 time i took that. thought we would just bomb it long with the breeze. esp with our talls.but the bays shut it down and grinded out a tough win. 1 thing i didnt get was everytime the bays got a free the bay supporters gave the bronks cheers like they were hard done bye. good game of tough footy where the team in front when the siren went won.

Agree. Stribling turned it over when he wasnt under pressure resulting in a Glenelg goal.
Archard pinged for holding the ball after it had already gone, cost a goal
Archard kicked 3 points when at least one was gettable from a set play.
It sounded like there were many other unforced errors by North and Glenelg were just better at the scrap in the last qtr

Can't blame Thiele alone although it is ironic considering who started this thread ;)

I'm not sure how the Bays won that game ... North were very wasteful in front of goal, especially in the 2nd half.

Thiele defintely the best for the Bays. ;)

So much improvement needed so the bye comes at a good time to allow for a regroup.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.
