Danger game for the Bays. Always hard to beat North at Jellybean Oval.

Dare I say it, but North by 17pts :-?

North haven't beaten the Bays since 2006. Are we due?

MAL if we havent beaten them since 2006, then you could obviously name about 12 or so others in the same boat ;) ;)

Glenelg has the game plan and personnnel that shut North's inside game down and therefore throws them off their ability to move the ball quikly and go direct and we will end up playing wide.

Unless we can at least break even in ruck which will be a big ask without Ackland or O'Hara, and win our share of clearances and play quick direct Football then I think Glenelg will win comfortably.

You are spot on. In the last 3 years Ty Allen and Fisher have shut us down in the middle, generally they then have got the ball out wide to the Mouse who always killed us. At least two of the three of them aren't playing this year, but Kane Tenace is a handy replacement for Mouse. We live in hope though.

Glenelg are struggling at the moment while North has a killer edge up front. Think North will win by 3-4 goals provided J.Allan doesn't rack up 30+ possesions and kill Norths efficency with the ball ;)

Yes Jimmy racking up 35 plus possesions nearly lost it for North on Sunday and the week before v Port.
Damm you Jimmy for being a consistent, classy hard working rover with yet another top 3 finish likely on Magarey Medal night. You assume he gets easy kicks and receive's, watch North weekly and see the real story.

Sorry thought the wink would make it clear it was tongue in cheek, i don't think i could go a week on here without a Jimmy Allan bait, but his ok. Still prefer Ian Callinan picking up 30 possesion and kicking goals as well though.

Yeah hopefully Allan kicks a few more goals this week as he only kicked 4 on Sunday.

Yeah must admit i was surprised with that, that was a great effort and if he can become dangerous going forward North will be so much a better side, i think that is was has killed them in the past not having midfielders who can score goals.

If Allan can average 2 goals a game or there abouts North will make the gf imho.

Its not the midfielders fault, our game style insists they hardly go forward of centre.
The midfielders can score goals but not from 120 metres out.

Fair enough but if Allan has permission and is allowed to play forward more frequent i think North are going to be so much better of and see Allan ripping games apart. I have a feeling Healy realises Norths midfielders need to kick more goals thus allowing Allan to go forward and kick 4 against South.

We have more options in the middle this year though OTR?

This should be a good game and hard to pick a winner.

North are in great form but yet to be tested by a top three team.

Glenelg played well last week despite losing.

North v Centrals the following week should be a cracker too.

Norh are in "great form"?
Does a comfortable win over South after almost going down to the broke Magpies and getting flogged two weeks prior to that bt West deem they're in great form?
We haven't even got a positive percentage despite playing 3 of the 4 bottom sides of last year!
Great form? I think not. :?
Scraping by, maybe.

Don't disagree the form is indifferent but if we continue to win 3 out of every 4 games you can call it what you like. The next 2 weeks will show us whether we've been scraping by. I certainly expected to be 3 and 1 albeit with a potential loss to Sturt rather than West.
