Round 4 Ladder

Postby whufc » Sun Apr 18, 2010 9:34 pm

1 EAGLES 3 3 0 0 57.60 6
2 CENTRAL 3 3 0 0 54.71 6
3 NORTH 4 3 1 0 49.48 6
4 GLENELG 4 2 2 0 53.75 4
5 WEST 4 2 2 0 53.06 4
6 STURT 4 1 2 1 49.13 3
7 PANTHERS 4 1 2 1 45.68 3
8 PORT 3 0 3 0 46.09 0
9 NORWOOD 4 0 4 0 39.31 0

Eagles and Central with a mini break in the top3 race, it's only early in the season but surely we couldn't start a new decade the way we started the last with a Cen vs Eags GF.

IMHO Port, Norwood and South can't make the five with the rest of the spots up for grab and games can only be tipped on a game by game basis.

Going to be a very tight battle for the Top5 this year which will make the top 3 even more important this year as ever.

Start the new decade with a CD v Eagles GF? Maybe, but let's concentrate on this year first.

How Ironic - the new centuries' two superpowers atop the ladder, the two from the previous two centuries at the bottom. I'm at peace with the world.

Thought teams could only elevate 2 rookies at a time? Schmidt and Jaensch already gone up...

Sort of true, JTC.
They have, however, play in five times the number of grand finals your lot has since the turn of the century.
They've also won half the 'non Centrals' premierships this century, and would have a consistency ranking of second this century behind us as well.

Need I say more. :D
