SMS from the Bay claims that 20 min mark 3rd term Bays are 15.10 to Legs 7.3

Norwood #19 has apparently done a shoulder.

(edit) now the Bays #9 has done his ankle.

Just pretty bad cramp for that Glenelg player that went down, all good.

Final Score
Glenelg 4.5 9.8 17.10 20.13 (133)
Norwood 1.0 5.2 7.3 12.8 (80)

A game of halves - Glenelg dominated the first and all bar the first three minutes of the third quarter (12.7 to 1.1 in that time) and outside of that time Norwood was unable to make their most of their turn with the ascendancy (11.7 to 8.6). The Legs did claw back to 18 points early in the third quarter but the Bays put on eight straight. One of the Bays' FF kicked a bag but can't remember who.

I might just do that. Was going to go to Norwood and South but this is definitely a better option.

look out for timmy lads, he'll play mainly reserves and 18's and kick goals in both grades, he's a little gun

Glenelg made it 2-from-2 tonight at Richmond

West Adelaide 2.1 5.2 9.4 11.4 (70)
Glenelg 4.1 9.3 10.6 15.8 (98)

A good contest but a lot of over possession at times. Glenelg pushed out to a 31-point lead shortly after half time but Westies kicked four straight goals to reduce it eight points at 3QT but the Bays were a class above. Thought #5 in the midfield and #21 up forward were their best.

Thanks for the update Scott :)
Noticed you're a South supporter - I'll take the opportunity to say Congrats on your League teams win too

#5 is Matthew Snook (brother of Reserves player Shannon). Trained with Seniors for a lot of pre-season and is in the U18s State squad. I reckon the Snook brothers will become as well known in years to come for the Bays as the Gowans are for Centrals now ;)

#21 is Darcy Armfield whom I highlighted last week, when he kicked his 8 goals straight.

One thing I noticed about Snook is that when the game was there to be won in the final quarter, he - by far - shone out more than any other player in the contests in terms of winning the hard ball and desperation.

As for Armfield, I should have remembered him because he kicked eight last weekend - extremely good on the lead, strong above his head, kicks a long and accurate ball, and wins a fair bit of ground ball too. He would have kicked only 2-3 goals tonight but there were probably 2-3 other occasions where he persisted with the ground ball get and fed it off resulting in a goal, which is unusual for someone in his position. Seriously good prospect.

And Norwood U/18s also beat South tonight by about 10 goals.:(
