Which ever way I look at those photos I come to the same conclusion ... maybe someone from the idle insulation industry is doing the job?

WTF are they doing on the oval?
I suppose that's the problem with having a great drink like Coopers on tap there, maybe the artchitect, the club or the builders were all pissed!

Light towers just outside the fence and pointing downwards to keep local residents happy as these are taller than the old lights. Plus it would have been a hell of a lot more expensive to erect them behind spectator areas. Cables laid under the oval surface but on Fri night you wouldnt have known the trenches were there so great job by the groundsmen.
Heard whispers that a new scoreboard will be built in the future but for now one tower will block part of the scoreboard if you're watching from the southern end goals to coopers hill. (where the majority watch the game from :?)
By all reports these lights will be brighter than Hamra and City Mazda and looking forward to Easter Thurs.

It's reported in the East Torrens Messenger that the new lights are 550 lux compared to the old at 340 lux ... so I guess that means that they're a lot brighter.

They also stated the new lights at Richmond are only 300 lux.
