Will be to my knowledge. Spoke last week, looking forward to it. Slower pre-season but as strong as he's ever been.

This could be enough for Central to not win a premiership this year.. may even lose a 2nd Semi!!

There are 2 players capable of taking the position of Yves if he has in fact hung up the boots...

Justin Hardy is very similiarly built to Yves and played some league football last year while youngster Nick White from the reserves is a great full back and wouldn't be far from league selection either.

IF true, the one thing you cannot replace is his leadership, experience and determination...

Hurry up sjt and confirm what is happening as big phil appears to be beside himself! That could be because either (a) Sibanaler is not playing in 2010 for the dogs or (2) he hasn't broken the story himself?

Confirmed to be true this morning in the Advertiser by Warren Partland...

Big loss for the Doggies and dissapointing for it to happen at this stage of the year where he can't be replaced...

Thanks for a great career with the Doggies and good luck with your future career in the NT Evil, well done mate...

Certainly now gives the likes of Justin Hardy and Nick White an opportunity to step up at league level...

Yeah, apparently going to be a fireman in the N.T. Fitness 33 has lost a machine.

Plenty using that as a reason not as an excuse ;)
Sorry, straying from the thread - Well done Evil top bloke, brilliant career!

I didn't think much of Sibenalar until the 2003 GF :( . He played very well on Bradshaw that day, even if the midfield pressure and Hopwood dropping infront of him had an influence, Sibenalar didn't give Bradshaw a sniff.

He will leave a bit of a hole in the centrals backline.

Exactly my view wyc. Wasn't he a full forward up until around that time, and then they swung him onto Bradshaw as he was a good physical match up for him.

Yeah, Evil played a bit as a full forward in the reserves and early on in his league career. I seem to recall him kicking a bag of 5 or 6 in one of his early games against the Maggies at home.

Bad timing for the Dogs and a huge hole to fill now in defence for Roy Laird. Like I say though gives others like Hardy and White a chance and Central have been pretty good at replacing quality players with talent in the past.

Another young lad to keep an eye on from the Doggies reserves is promising defender Corey Reichert...

Once again, congrats to Yves on a pretty amazing career with the Dogs, well played Evil =D>
