Thank you

Postby whatever » Wed Feb 10, 2010 9:21 pm

Leading into this I was quite happy to see the magpies fold.

Then the merger came up and I thought it was a good way to stay in the SANFL without ever being a power house club again.

Well after last night there is going to be one of two responses.

1 - Magpies fold

2 - the SANFL has stirred up enough supporters like me that say **** you, you barstards we will kill you. Thus the re birth of the premiership winning Port Adelaide. The irony is the sanfl clubs will only have themselves to blame.

In summary thank you to the SANFL clubs for rekindling my love for the magpies and even better thank you for rekindling my hate for other SANFL clubs.

And THAT is why you will fold with supporter attitudes like that.

Have fun in the SAAFL mate.

are you getting confused with the fact that the 8 SANFL clubs are not willing you to die- just not willing you to merge with an AFL side!

I was thinking that while watching the news. All these "supporters" came out today to get memberships and buy merchandise...now that they are in trouble. If they had done this in the first place the Magpies wouldnt be in the trouble they are.

Well said!!!
Clearly, you haven't been down to Alberton recently without your 'Teal' on...
And you lot wonder why the rest of us refuse to follow or give money to the GAYFL side.
I do feel sorry for the MAGPIE die hards, not the Teal try hards (like you)
We (Eagle supporters) know better than most what they are currently experiencing.
Losers like you, are the reason THEY don't support your Teal 1/2

Exactly. I'm hearing Power supporters who had no time for the Magpies suddenly wanting them around.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Emotions are a funny thing, people all have different triggers to get their emotions going. Port has always thrived on the us against them mentallity (even when it didn't really exist). I think last night the SANFL ignited that emotion in a lot of fringe supporters.

Lets be honest, some of the non-Port people have not shown the greatest attitudes recently on here either. Yet very few of those posts got any response. Now, the slightest bit of tough talk from Port people and we are up in outraged arms about it!

I think it's great to finally see some passion and banter coming back re Port Adelaide on SAFooty. The Port people have been so quiet on here (with some beaten up exceptions like Booney and beenreal).

Keep it up!

Agreed. Along with Pipers one of the few not afraid to tell it like it is.
