SA Footy Season Launch

Postby whufc » Tue Feb 02, 2010 12:24 pm

Whats the chances/would it be a good idea to have a SAFooty season launch meet at a selected Adelaide venue. Everyone could meet up with one condition being that you wear apparell from your favourite footy team whether that be AFL/SANFL/Amatuer/Country. Im sure someone could run raffles/competitons which could raise a little bit of money to help running costs for the year. IMHO would be a great night and would be a good laugh watching rivalries and so forth meeting each other in person would be easy as al meeting at a pub in the city.

Anyway just a thought, im looking for an excuse to go to the city and have a few beers, married life is tough.

Anyone wearing AFL garb to an SAfooty event should be dragged outside to have some sense kicked into them.

I'll take any excuse for a cold one while 'er indoors wrangles the kids though...

Probably a good idea, if you wore turquoise you might have the taxi driver end up taking you to the Mars bar instead if home mate. ;)

Good idea, if it is after Wed March 17th should have copies of the 2010 SANFL Season Guide available as well, might do it for a special price on the night.

Yes it is central i suppose, but i have not been to town for a beer for 10 years, & from what i hear i am not rushing back in a hurry.
A Wednesday night would be perfect though, so maybe the City may not be as full of ****heads as usual. (Except where ever we held the function) :D

Before you all start, I know every pub has its share of dils, but town does have a bad rep atm.

Moe, Madrooster, Adelaide Bank, real McCoy are in no matter where it is.

Your rage levels must be high at Alberton Oval games.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Why not the Prince of Wales and donate some cash to the struggling Magpies?

All wearing SANFL club colours and show the Magpies some support?
