Since our AGM got moved back to February 2 or 3 years back they put out 2 different reports, the first in Nov/Dec which is a club yearbook, then the financial statement in a seperate book which won't come out till next month.

Norwood's next week.

Speaking with the President last Thursday who said that the Eagles would post a profit, turning around a $350K loss. Not sure of the exact figures tho.

got below on Panthers Forum site .....

Went tonight. Financially, sounds like we are very sound, having met all our commitments plus a bonus $260k payment off the loan.

Football wise, a few new recruits (all young) training hard , names forgotten but Ron very happy with commitment. stated that a few players had dropped off as they could not keep up with the demands of the pre season. Get the impression that standards have been set for all not most.

Three new board members, Andrew Luckhurst Smith (Kingstonians Predsident and life long supporter), Mark Caezorwicz (past player and I think father of one junior player) and David Kelly (lifelong supporter).

Lights for 2011.

Life membership for Alex Burrowes.

Importantly. no gloss for this year and no silly predictions for next.

In the words of Mike, GO PANTHERS!

My understanding from over hearing several conversations (not involving myself) .We may have turned a $350k loss into a very very huge profit .
Something like double but I will wait for the club to say so!

i think ul fine Mark Caezorwicz is the step-dad of Simon Goodwin. Played with his son at Westies, before he moved to south to play juniors. He was step brothers with Simon goodwin, and last name was Caezorwicz. Pretty sure that his dads name was Mark aswell

Ceaser was one of the few players that could comb his shoulders
Mark played league footy for South and his son has been and is still playing ressies for the Panthers with maybe a step up this year.

Got Glenelg's annual report tonight and gee just a small turn-around in finances this year, 2008 a $281 000 loss, 2009 a $202 000 profit. A turnaround of almost half a million. Well done to Simon, Chris, Gaz and Barro....

AGM to be held in February. Well done to Dr Marc Cesana club person of the year and to Fred Droslbach (Property Steward) and Graham Ferrett (Fundraising) on life membership.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That is a great result for the Bays - well done. Am really interested to see all Clubs financial performance this year, especially considering the hype around this time last year when results were published and 7 of 9 had made losses.
