Has been traded from Essendon to Port Adelaide, which means he will play for Central when not selected by Port Adelaide, one would think he will probably play the required three games to be available for finals, plus he does not have to be fit into the salary cap being on an AFL list. IMHO will be very handy if he does play in the SANFL,
whufc one very happy camper, good luck Jay.

Yeah, great pick up for the Doggies if they do see a bit of him next season...
I think he will be one of the fringe type players who will spend time back and forth between AFL and SANFL...
Was used as a tagger in some of his early games for Essendon, from memory, one of his best games was a tagging job he did on Buckley in an ANZAC Day clash...
Started playing off half back a bit more though, which is where he played his best football wehn coming through the reserves for Central before being drafted to the Bombers...
I think he will have the fitness base to be a good on baller and if or when he plays for the Dogs, I would suspect we will see him play through the midfield, perhaps rotating off half back...
I quite regularly see Nashy's Dad at Central's games and I think Jay's sister is still going out with James Gowans so the Nash family will be happy to have him back in Adelaide...

I think a notional amount has to be included in the salary cap each time an AFL listed player pulls on a local SANFL jumper.
