Surely the most important question/point is Glenelg's finishing. Worst for the year and poor in 2 vital games that ended up being close losses. Do glenelg put the ball in the wrong spots for good goals (too wide, too far out, too many punched through for points?) or are the forwards just not great shots for goal? The dogs typically have among their goalkickers their most accurate shots. Apart from Schell who can be hit an miss (but is just magnificent at winning the ball) Havelberg, Callinan, O'Sullivan and the Gowans would be our main goalscorers and all are 70% or better. Do Glenelg need a slight amendment to the game plan, new personnel up forward or just more work with what they have?

Lock in "B" thanks Eddie
Some of the shots Glenelg missed were dead-set gimmes.
Conversely, Sturt nailed some very tight shots- & that's why they won.

Glenelg have only themselves to blame for 2 "honourable" losses- their poor shots on goal have cost them-
1. A Grand Final berth with a week off
2. A Grand Final berth.

Now it is for reasons above they have the choker tag- they hand their destiny in their own hands & couldn't cut the mustard when it counts.
