Now, from an Eagles point of view. For all the crap that was heaped upon us for losing to Central all the time, if you were one of those people, you are finding out now how hard it is yourself.

I'll leave it to other people to comment on the game as far as how Centrals or Glenelg performed. But I'd like to comment on the umpiring in not only the two finals today but also the finals last week. There seems to be too many times where the umpires are making stupid, ridiculous decisions at crucial points of the game and in dangerous parts of the ground. Just in the last quarter of this semi-final, there were equally attrocious decisions for and against both sides that were just a complete joke.
Similar inconsistency occured in the earlier game and just as many dumb ass decisions were made last week. While one may not go so far as to say that the overall level of umpiring was good, poor or otherwise, it concerns me that since we have had 4 consecutive finals decided by small margins, we are getting decisions late in games which are resulting in 2 or 3 goals to one side, which not only gives momentum, but can change the face of the game.
Overall, while I wouldn't attribute a win or loss to any side because of umpiring, it takes away from the spectacle somewhat when fans have to see poor decisions time and time again in pressure matches.

One of the worst umpired games I've ever seen.
The 25 against Mills? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's just so pathetically predictable. Fair enough to Centrals, they're only doing what they should, but in these days of dwindling interest in the SANFL, the boring repetitiveness is killing off the viability of the competition.

Both, both have just bowed down to Central, yawn, saw it coming a mile away.
The SANFL- where chokers exist to lose to Central.
6 points and 2 points is bowing down? So what do you call the regular shalacking your team took week in week out this year? Geez come on people, a bit of perspective here.
Centrals showed great mental strength for the second week running to JUST knock off one of the best sides in the league. If Central had lost to Sturt or Glenelg, I doubt anyone would describe that as bowing down.
... but should that be the new definition some fools wish to go by, then I'm glad Sturt had a comprehensive victory today, completely and utterly anhiliating a poor ass Torrens side, who did nothing but bow before our immense greatness.

No different to the 1980's and 1990's under Port Adelaide... and the 1950's... and 1940's... well most of last century... but we all managed to get past that and have our windows of opportunity.
Glenelg were significantly improved this year compared to last year... they should win handsomely next week, so they'll have another crack at the Doggies and could well win. Anyone who says the Tigers have no chance of winning it are being a bit silly.

Worst player in the competition. I'm deadly serious when I say that Glenelg would've been off with 20 players today instead of that clown running aorund. Worst effort levels of any senior player I've ever seen, has he chased or applied 1 tackle in his career? Staggering.
