Which player would you pick first?

Postby bloods08 » Thu Sep 17, 2009 1:39 pm

If you had the whole of the SANFL to pick from, which player would you pick first? Try not to pick from your team. I would go for Jade Sheedy. Without doubt (imo) that he is the most consistent player over the last 10 years. Wouldnt be too many games over his 200 that would have yielded less than 20 possessions.

I guess it is obvious as to who is the most talented.........but you don't pick players on talent alone.

This is hard to answer because of the requirement to pick players from other teams. I would pick the on-ballers first and I can't go past the on-ball brigade at Centrals.

so I think that I will nominate a key forward. I waould pick Salter because he has often caused the doggies problems and stands up in pressure games.
We used to be good :-(

Gee whiz we need alot more than one gun player but I would probably go with Daniel Havelberg.
Can play at either end of the ground.A very good player!!

The Gowans twins, only came as a package deal.
IMO the most influental players in SANFL in the last 10 years.

Ok:
-not from my team
-and strictly one player (i.e. the Gowans duo doesn't count as I would choose them)

It would be Corey AhChee. Then we could play Kenny up forward more often. If that doesn't work on any given day, we just swap them.
