Yeah, they used to be on Sunday's because the AFL used to program Saturday afternoon semi final but they haven't done for quite some time yet the SANFL are stuck in a rut with Sunday finals because they don't care. Morons.
Even if the AFL hadn't changed there was only a 1 in 8 chance the Crows would be playing in that fixture anyway so it was pointless even then.
Saturday afternoon is for footy. Sunday is for hangovers.

This game should be starting at 2:00 (a normal time) and the next game at 5, on Saturday.

But then we are all still in the finals race unlike some other teams

This will be a crackerjack game - The Eagles hold the pyschological advantage having won both the head to head battles this season but having said that the Roosters have won the past two finals battles between these two clubs.

Yeah good point, it was crazy programming the Eagles for the last bye, should have gone to West or South.

I'm backing the Eagles to knock the Roosters out... just don't think the Roosters have it in them to continue... that would suit me fine, as I'm hoping my boys do the job in the afternoon to give the Eagles a crack at sending Centrals home with beans!

Eagles should regain the services of Matthew Broadbent, Paul Stewart and Nick Salter possibly even Robert Shirley if not selected by the Adelaide Crows.

Anyone in the know what the Reserves will do this week? Having already the bye and now another week off, is there anything planned for the weekend - like a scratch match or something?

Eagles to progress to the first-semi by beating a disappointing North outfit.

Should be a good spectacle to start the double header, although the Eagles have won the two games this year that means nothing now, but hopefullythe form line continues! Will be handy to have the three power boys back, they have all been good performers when they have been in the colours this year.

Think the reserves would be working on making sure an effort like last weeks isnt served up again for the 2nd semi Spelly.

I have no problem with the games being Sunday, fly in from the family holiday Sunday morning & drive straight to Football Park. Not idiots at all.

As a bonus for finishing the season in bottom position, that team should have the bye in the last home and away match of the following season

i don't care whether it's friday saturday or sundays for finals i'm just happy to be there because it wasn't that long ago that i was wishing we were playing & i'm sure the south, port, norwood & west supporters would be happy to be playing on sunday 13/9/2009 & beyond, wedgie..stop behaving like a drama queen
