Rnd 23 - Norwood v Central @ Coopers (Sat 5/9)

With the Doggies coming off a good confidence boosting win over Sturt, the rested up Redlegs will be keen to burst the bubble of the Dogs going into finals.
Jarrod Cotton has stated that some players will be playing for their careers so this may be closer than many think. I look forward to seeing a good game of footy.
Centrals by 25 points for me...

Just throwing this one out there ... what would give better odds, the Legs getting up or winning Xlotto?

If you wanted to use this season as a guide, Norwood winning. But if you mean winning any prize in X-Lotto - down to Div 5, then winning lotto it would be.

Norwood's best chance perhaps is the dogs not being allowed into the ground by security.

We have struggled recently against Norwood, ever since We bashed the s**t out of them at Elizabeth a couple of years ago. We have had to come* from behind a few times & the past 2 times were at Norwood, 2 goals down & 6 goals down. This won't be a walk in the park.

Last time Walker kicked 6 goals before half time and caused us some real problems. He is back in the team again (assuming the Crows don't call him up) so we may again have our hands full.

Well, if Ben Nason is in he should do the right thing and look like a league footballer by getting that terrible haircut sorted out!

James Gowans' 200th put off a week, and Griffin obviously not risked by the crows.

Well, assuming the 2 other outs come from the bench that's 5 changes. Very few teams win with 5 changes, even if the team's had a good year.
Apart from Doyle, are the other 4 ins all from the reserves? And where to for Jesse Aish? I've not been impressed with him in the past, is this his last chance to impress?

I reckon Norwood will have their moments in patches, but Central will maintain their usual intensity and runout handsome winners.
From a Legs perspective will be good to see even more new kids in action, enjoy an ale and finally put an end to yet another horrid horrid season.

Last game of the season eh. Well I'm looking forward to seeing the two kids play, as well as sending Massie off with a strong showing.
Dogs by 4 goals.

Great to see Havelberg back. Hopefully he can get ready for a big finals campaign.Best of luck to Ben in his debut good young lad. He and Habel are two very promising young midfielders for the club IMHO.
