MATTHEW GOLDSWORTHY WINS ROUND 21 COCA-COLA STAR SEARCH NOMINATION



Matthew Goldsworthy from Woodville-West Torrens Football Club has been named the Round 21 Coca-Cola Star Search nominee.

In last week’s match against West Adelaide, Goldsworthy collected 11 kicks, three marks, three handballs, four tackles and two goals.

The 18 year old played four League games last year and has played seven so far in 2009. He has also represented the state at the 2009 NAB AFL U18s Championships.

The 177cm, 77kg footballer previously played for the CMS Crows.

Congratulations to Matthew.

I thought he played a nice game on Sunday.

He seems to be improving each week and is a handy goal sneek .

Another Star Search winner against westies.

There have been a few get the nomination against us the last two years.

Spelly have we had more against us than any other club the last two years?

I don't know actually, I have not kept any records on this. I thought Goldsworthy already had a nomination in this last year? That's how much I know.
