Who the hell is spreading this dodgy rumour??? Friend at work (Port Magpies fan) reckons he's heard a rumour out Alberton way that next years Port Magpies senior coach will be none other than...Garry McIntosh

Considering its already been suggested on here a while back that he was in line for a senior position with Port (See: here), who the hell on here is spreading that (rather funny) rumour???

LOL that wont happen - I head GRAHAM CORNES was going to coach them next year!

Nothing more than a rumour, the great man would consider the job if offered it, but no talks have taken place at all as yet.

theres been plenty of players playing for different clubs and rivals in the same code that have coached in there later years the major rivals etc. Im sure if macca was offered the job and was a nice package he wouldnt hesitate to take it.

Won't be a nice package $$$ wise as Timmy said on the Sunday Roast on AA last week that whoever took the job would be doing it for love not money as he clearly stated through the interview that PAMFC are really struggling financially.

The reason that they are struggling financially is due to a certian AFL team that lost to Brisbane last night and Freo last week and who claim to be around since 1870.

Of all the football rumours over the years this would have to be one of the worst. Won't happen.

Maybe because the person that started spreading this rumour is dumb too!

Would be a shock not being able to abuse Macca but if he could bring the club back up to the top i owul dhave no issue with him as coach

There is someone at Port that does want him there, and he was interested last year in talking to them but it got blocked by the magnificent 7.
