Honor and WWT

Postby Sojourner » Mon Aug 17, 2009 4:41 pm

Have heard a rumour today that ex Glenelg coach Brenton Honor will be coaching Woodville West Torrens in 2010. :?

Any truth in it?

From memory, the AD said that the candidate must have a track record of success.

The only success this fool has had is in dividing Clubs and making himself look like a inept operator in the process.

This topic has to be a joke. It will never happen.

C'mon, you can't blame Sojourner for trying to find his mate a new home. ;)

If they got rid of a coach with a record like Fuller and replaced him with dis-Honor I would
for a week. Brenton is a nice bloke, good amatuer coach but not up to SANFL league level as a coach.

He was a joke when coaching previously, he's been a joke as a column writer/tipster in the paper and unless he agreed to do it for nothing, still wouldnt get an interview

I had to check the calendar to ensure that today is not the first of April.
Don't be surprised if a former South coach is in the mix though......?

Geez, the knives will be out if he gets the gig, I promise you! There'll be more slashed throats around town than you can poke a stick at.

Aceman I think Dexter ;) could get called up to take care of a few of the names being mentioned to"have" the gig already.

Juniors under Pyman at South??? ...I blame this guy alot for where we are now!!! The guy had no interest in juniors....had a handful of fav's but the rest went back to their Southern League Football clubs (some were very successful) as the guy showed no interest in blooding them through.

Good luck to the Eagles if he goes there :?

Another reason to just say NO to Pyman ;)

I think many of my Eagles brethren are looking at Pyman as an ex Eagle Player .Something they prefer to do further up the road at Alberton something many of us at Oval ave are hoping we steer clear of.

Gee whiz, I'm confused! Every candidate I've thought would be good seems to have a bad side!

I don't know about those who have not had any coaching experience would be good or not when looking at Rohan Smith.

This is like North last year, we as outsiders just pile some names into a hat and see who ends up getting selected!
