I guess everyone will be asking the Dogs by how much !!??
It is very likely this game will eventuate into a percentage booster for the Dogs, who found some good form to take care of North last week. South were again dissapointing going down to the Eagles at Thebby and it goes without saying this has been a terrible year for the Panthers.
Doesn't seem like it is going to get any better for them this weekend, the last time the sides met at Elizabeth, the Dogs won by about 8 or 9 goals. Leading into 3 quarter time of that contest, Central were up by in excess of 90 points but South kicked something like 7 goals to 2 in the last term.
They will need another respectable performance like that last term fightback to get anywhere near the Dogs this time, but not likely to happen with the Doggies having the sniff of September in the air. It will be a lng day for the South faithful...
Dogs by 10 - 15 goals for me.
P.S - Really looking forward to this one, it is the beggining of my "Buck's Day / Night" celebration !!

Unfortunately i can't go this weekend due to work commitments

but it's probably not a bad game to miss if i have to miss any.
Would love to see the Dogs put the foot down for a whole game and really punish the panthers. Would also like to see Eddie Sansbury playing in the forward line all game as thats where i believe he is most dangerous.
Dogs by 87 pts

Centrals by 38.
I expected us to go pretty hard in the first half and then slack off abit in the 2nd, as we tend to do quite abit in games where we are expected to win by a large margin.

I will head up to elizabeth and hope to find some positives. The result is a foregone conclusion.
I thought last season was dissapointing!
The sooner the club reappoints Clay the better.
Try and get Ron Fuller as the director of coaching and we can go into next season with a more positive note!

Panthers in upset of the season/decade...
Ben Warren to kick 10.
Dogs (and their supporters) getting too far ahead of themselves. South to provide a reality check.

South to beat Central.....
-Torney's 50th game for South.
-Central will go in with a weak mindset
-Sampson to save his role as coach
........and pigs will fly

I think every side looks good when attacking, so I believe South should just do that. Got nothing to lose.

instead of predicting the margin of this game we should predict how many people will be bothering to turn up.

It's the longest road trip in the SANFL! Couldn't imagine too many southees will waste their petrol...

Throw in the Adelaide v West Coast game on at the same time and the attending could be on par with a Noarlunga crowd...

south supporters should save their money and listen to the game on radio while watching some football games in the Southern Football League or Great Southern area.

I will be there; havent been to Elizabeth since the late '70's. Not sure why I am choosing this week to go though. Elizabeth is closer for this proud panther supporter than Noarlunga.

As a long standing doggies supporter who has made the trip down south everytime I have been in Adelaide I can't help but

at these sentiments. True supporters are mad eof sterner stuff and support their club through thick and thin. All of you knockers of the AFL seem to forget that many Crows and Port supporters are dedicated enough to follow their teams inter-state and a relatively short car trip is seen as an imposition. Don't expect commitment from your players if you can't be committed yourself. Soft!

Blue and a white I too will venture up to elizabeth.I witnessed the flogging we copped earlier this season, and up until then had not been to Elizabeth for many many years.
I was always under the impression dogs fans are a ruthless intimidating bunch but was proven totally wrong.A select few of our own supporters were carrying on like dim wits and one in particular made a total fool of himself. When our team is losing by so much on the score board it is best to keep ones dumb comments to ones self!!
I am starting to sound like a broken record but I hope we do not disgrace ourselves again!!
