Actually I have it on good authority, Centrals, Eagles, Glenelg, Sturt, North and West are going to be "done" for salary cap breaches and will have all their points wiped after rd 23.
South will beat Port and Norwood in an abridged finals series, so South will win the flag!!!
Hey given that this is the thread for silly posts.....

I think the silliest part of this post is South to beat anyone in 09

My lid is firmly on tight ! We are in a week by week process. I believe we can win this week at the Unley Council Playground, but for the flag....well still too far away, but at least we are in the race.

At our age Bayman would not want to be premature at anything
Tell me how well do the bays play on small ovals like the one the dogs use for a toilet ?

The "Bays" are the best team I have ever seen this century.

The fact that this thread started at 6:12pm and has had 15 replies since (and its only 8:19pm) worries me greatly.
..as does the fact that I bothered to reply too

Doesn't look like the news is all that good for John Hinge and his finals aspirations with the Bays...
http://guardian-messenger.whereilive.com.au/sport/story/hinge-unlikely-to-return-for-finals/Jai Bednall @ Messenger Community News wrote:Hinge unlikely to return for finals
John HingeGLENELG has suffered a major blow with news livewire forward John Hinge will miss the rest of the season.
Football operations manager Ken Applegarth said it was ``extremely doubtful’’ Hinge would recover from a foot injury in time for the club’s tilt at the premiership.
``After liasing with the doctor we’ve decided to list him (as out for the season),’’ Applegarth said.
``It’s not as though he’s not trying to get back, but he broke his ankle and had it pinned. It’d have to be extremely doubtful.’’
Applegarth’s comments come just a week after coach Mark Mickan said the club was optimistic Hinge could return ``for either the last minor round game or the first final’’.
Hinge had a pin inserted in to his right ankle the day after suffering the injury in Round 16 against Port.
He is wearing a ``moon boot’’ and began a four-week recovery program at training last night.
``He was at training last night icing it,’’ Applegarth said.
``It’s not as though he’s not trying (to get back).
``Mark’s hoping he’ll get back and he will continue to work really hard but in realistic terms it’s going to be a hell of an effort.’’

Still laughing at your own jokes Booney? ... and by the way in 2025 Choco's still coaching and the Power still haven't won 2 games in a row, but Port Maggies have just won 5 flags in a row ... in SAAFL Div 2.
