Harder is correct JAS, the other player is Lokan.
Always nice to have a win against Port Adelaide, especially at Alberton Oval. Haven't had much to cheer about this season, but this one made me smile

The battle for 6th spot is still alive!!!

Good to see a game of man on man footy today
That meant the full forwards had a chance to excel
Perry kicked 6 goals on Toby Shultz but it was a brilliant duel all day
Shultz did some good work and has very good disposal
Walker 5 goals, was brilliant and assisted in a few goals as well
This game had everything
skill
errors
fights
and some inconsistent umpiring
The highlights of the day
Gallagher was heckled by a few supPORTers today and about 5 minutes later took one of the most courageous marks you would ever wunna see
The other highlight was getting a free sauasge roll form a bubbly cuddly young girl that worked in the outer wing stall.
PA led 2-3 to 0-0 early in the game
NW kicked the next 6-3 and kept PA at bay all day
$20k for winning today ca chingggggggg

GREAT game! Excellent summary mal, Schulz might have had 6 kicked on him but gee I thought he was good! Probably the best game by a defender where his opponent bagged 6.
Walker is a star, kicked 5 and dished a few more off. Port fans were giving it to him all day, nice one...
Gags' courageous mark was unbelievable stuff. Massie’s best game for a while, McGuinness was magnificent in defence as was Stopp and Jackman. Puopolo great, Rowe excellent. You see where I’m going, great team effort.

Those Port people are a pretty miserly bunch, you may have just got that girl the sack

A couple of times NW were gifted frees from behind the play incidents
I reckon about 2 goals from those frees
Struth dont tell me PA was tanking today !
By finishing 2nd last they get 2nd AFL/SANFL mini draft pick next year

That equals the most amount of losses in a season by Port, 14.

Norwood aren't allowed to participate in that draft for next season, so it didn't matter who finished ahead of who in that circumstance.

Cotton has been undertaking an interesting style of coaching in recent weeks based around personal accountability and sacrificial acts on the ground.
Looks like it works!

Matthew Lokan is a nimrod and was almost solely responsible for Norwood's victory today with his relentless idiocy and behind the play thuggery that cost his team about three goals at various vital points of the game.
Thanks Matty.

Yes, serious. It's all part of the price you pay for being honest.

Of course it works, and if you want to be successful, these are vital ingredients.

Thankfully Bill Moody has put his hand up to play again and is hoping to fill a role rotating through the midfield and floating down and kicking a few goals.

That
may or may not be true but what can be inferred from a 2-3 win-loss record under a new coach with wins against the only 2 teams below on the table?

The three part of that two-three equation has been considerably better IMHO.
Apart from North we pushed Glenelg and the Eagles all the way, sure it's not winning but we haven't been as comprehensively pantsed as we seemed to be every week under Hill.

Whether it is true for Norwood reamins to be seen. However, point to one successful team in foortball who doesn;'t base their philosophy on just that, personal accountability and sacrificial acts. It's what won the Hawks an AFL flag last season, and why they have struggled this season.

Yep, that a fair call AH but it's symptomatic of the new coach inheriting from a low base ... don't disagree that's it's important though.
