Today I received via ebay a 1955 NAFC membership badge. The year I was born. Does anyone else here have any old badges from their clubs? I like the old designs. Please post.

I got a 1977 North sticker in the mail today, it says SeeyaSatdy and has a mention of the centenary year, might put it on the car as its 20 years older than the car, that would spin a few people out!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who's been watching "Sex In The Bush" on the ABC 8)

I've never really got into the collecting of badges and stuff like that, but like Mick, I have wanted to get the GFC medallion/badge for the year I was born...it's a top idea.

I used to be an agent for a Badge Manufacturer and had the honour of designing the Centrals Premiership Badge in 2000.
as well as the 2001 membership badge.(with help from Bill Cochrane). We used to do all of the West Adelaide Membership Keytags as well. We also did all of The Powers badges for a few years.

You cannot beat the old style of badges as shown on this thread. They are struck out of 2mm thick metal and individually hand painted with a resin coating.
Some of the recent badges around the place look like cheap rubbish and are made from thin brass with a computer image on them. Made to a price which is as cheap as possible.

Anyone interested in collecting pins and badges should look in "At the toss of a coin" in Unley or go to PINWORX in Rundle St.
