Anyone have any idea as to what the process is likely to be???????

Eagles fans received 2 emails today - one about tomorrow's game and the special offers at the merchandise tent from Kenny Mac. (half price stubby holders and drink bottles $3 off -now only $4)
Then the release of the advert for the coaching position before it gets to the public via tomorrow's paper.
Our members get the news first via our members only email service - and it isnt too late to join for this year!!

As a fellow, well informed Eagles member, I was also impressed that this evening I recieved a SMS text reminding me of the Super Sunday promotion on this weekend.
Great work from the Eagles, well organised and very proactive with keeping members informed and up to date.

Big Phil - glad you reminded me - Super Sunday for $25 you get 2 hour food and drinks package and entry into the main $2000 draw with first prize $1000.
Last time a few Roosters fans came with their Eagle mates and almost cleaned us out - they won heaps!!
A good day out for all.
Matt, all comments/details re the process of appointing the new coach will come from our CEO or President, with members being kept informed as our CEO did today.

I know of one former SANFL Coach who was rung 2 days ago to gauge his interest in the Eagles job
Would surprise a few if he got the gig.

I agree, Greg Anderson is going quite well with Hallet Cove with his recent Premiership win!

I have heard an ex AFL player looking towards a future coaching career in the AFL was seen at Oval Avenue during the week. Hint he currently is working as a commentator for Fox Sports.

Isn't the Eagles position a part time one? They may limit them in their options.

Not when you run your own business!

That's an interesting one ... part-time or full-time coach in the SANFL.
From the club's perspective, you would think full-time (or as close as possible) would be the go, but from the individual's perspective (prospective coach), for some a significant drop in salary wouldn't be worth giving up their current full-time job for.
Whichever way, it makes for an interesting process for both sides.

The Eagles released to their members this evening a detailed process of how they will proceed with selecting their coach.
I'm biased obviously but I'm impressed with the detail and people involved.
Not a great fan of making "members only" announcments public straight away ... I will be interested in what holden78 makes of it.
BTW Eagle Fans - remember next Sunday v West is Kids Day. For you kids to be in the pregame parade get to the Southern End by 1.15pm.

I'd personally drop the agency ... you're after a football coach, not an Executive.
