Huge percentage boost for West, they have a couple of crunch games coming up, they beat Port next week and a couple of weeks later beat North they may well sneak into 5th spot and rightly so

Drove past the Wakefield Hospital at 4-46pm this arvo
Saw a player in a West type guernsey hobble out to a car
Dunno who it was, short black hair and by the looks of things will be in doubt next week
Was it a WA player ?

Words cant describe what I witnessed today....

Bare with me as I am too disgusted to write what I saw.

A bloody disgrace of a team wearing South jumpers.

The whole club should lower their heads in shame

Pathetic!!!

Simply dog crap! What a joke of an effort!!!
No commitment,no care factor,no good!!!
If thats the sort of crap on offer for the rest of the season then we may as well forfeit!!!

To save time for the rest of the season, may I suggest Southee that you copy your above post and paste accordingly...

Could possibly be Dean Christie who hurt his ankle in the reserves game

Totally agree.....under 12's could have played better than that with more committment for the jumper.....

The SAFC is in serious trouble. Watching that game was laughable in parts.....comedy GOLD South!!!!

A disaster..

Have seen the majority of South games during the past 5/6 years, and that first half would be close to the most disgraceful, embarrassing South performance during that time. (although it would be hard to beat some of the 2007 efforts..)

Skill level, pressure, work-rate, team work was akin to Div 7 Amatuer level (with all due respect to those clubs..).

It was nothing more than a training drill for the bloods. 13.3 at half time to 1.4. To somebody who wasn't at the ground, you;d look at that scoreboard and think "wow, straight kicking". In reality though the bloods walked into that many open goals it was ridiculous.

Positives? Honestly hard to find one today. The third quarter was marginally better. (still 4 goals to 8 though). Warren tried his guts out all day and kicked 3.

I think a moment which summed up the performance for mine was about 1/2 way through the final quarter. Torney had the footy about 60 out and casually off a step bombed the footy in on the leading forwards head giving him next to no hope. For a skipper it was a careless effort.

The bloods fans certainly enjoyed the win, smashing the 100 point barrier which they haven't done for a while, and smashing a sub-par opposition who are in some trouble.

South: Warren maybe. Cockshell did a few nice things.
West: draw the names out a hat. Too many to mention.

I can think of one positive from today's game. It might hasten the termination of Clay Sampson's tenure as coach!
