Bye weekend for WWTFC fans

Postby cd » Wed Jul 29, 2009 9:36 pm

With the weekend off you can still call into the club on Saturday morning to help the players trip funds by buying something at their carpark sale.

This Saturday, 1 August, the players will be holding a garage sale in the Woodville Oval car park - Oval Ave from 8.30am to 1.30pm. Items include; furniture, electrical goods, travel bags, clothing, cd’s, dvd’s, books, sporting goods and much more.

Come down to the club and pick yourself up a bargain!

Also spend some time checking out the club's webpages with lots of info re coming events including a Super Sunday and a Wine night.
Great Articles including a ripper 'In the Nest' and heaps of photos in the photo archive.

Oh now come on lads , you can not be saying things like that and having your own opinion ; you will give CCL , the cock eyed sheep from hell , a cardiac arrest ! God forbid us Eagles wanting to win a flag more than once every 13 years ............... no no , we must be thankful for making the finals most years , after all thats really what its all about ............. just ask Norwood ! Fuller is alot like Communism , great in theory and leaves most feeling like they could do worse (ie. the cup is half full ) but the ultimate highs remain for the most part only a dream . Comrade Fuller needs a coup . :o

undermining comments from you so called supporters.....

holden78 you say plenty of negative things on here but have no intestinal fortitude to do something about it yourself if your that worried

put your name up and challenge for a board position and see how many votes you get

you'd be able to count them on 1 finger

hasbeen played in no finals white ant!

Fuller is gone blind sheep , ooooooh maybe I wasnt the only one to not be convinced he could take us forward ; your a tool that cant think for himself and thats been the case for years now ! Critiqueing Fuller and his performance , along with the board is every fans right ; its not being negative if its true , and obviously people now agree with what Ive been on about now since we went top in 06 ! Maybe CCL stands for Certainly Cant Laterally think !

Is there any chance one day you might actually put the quote first before your response??? It might give you more credibility when you start calling others "tools"!

You must be happy Holden that all your time and effort on here has come good, there is a new CEO, a new president and for next year a new coach who will all have your 100% support???
I'm curious who you think would make a good coach of our club for the next 3-5 years because whoever it is going to have big shoes to fill.

I look forward to some constructive posts from you after the end of the 09 season, not just personal attacks on the coach or the board because of reasons that are known only to you, because you seem to be very passionate about the club, as am I.

As you rightly say it's every fans right (or maybe every members right) to critique what happens at the club. Having said that though and I think I may have said once before anyone can get on here (just like you and I) and make anonymous comments and judgements about anything and everything but I would expect intelligent people like our new CEO and President wouldn't really take much notice of what we say...but if we made those same comments face to face, in writing or email etc.. we would be listened to and our thoughts/feelings noted.

One final comment on Ron, I'm sure that guys like Matty Stokes, Bernie Vince, Jared Petrenko, Nick Salter, Paul Stewart, Matthew Braodbent, Jarred Redden, Chris Hall, who have all moved on to AFL lists wouldn't consider him to be a blind sheep!
Trust the process.

Yeah but I wore a black Angels Tshirt to Woodville Oval last week whilst drinking bundy and smoking. Surely that qualifies me?
Admittedly the smokes were B&H and not Winny Blues though.
