agree with above, awful shame he wasnt selected this week!!!. Today we were lamentable. Sure we had a few senior players playing with injuries, but for the team to be almost outscored by one player , well it shows where we are at.

I don't think we'll see a lot more of Walker at Norwood. Last year he struggled with the defensive side of his game, but since he's had a run in the AFL and returned to Norwood, I've noticed his desire to apply tackles and run with his opponent when he doesn't have the ball. He's learning. Was always going to be dropped at some stage this season, but I don't expect it to happen too often in future.

Well done to Norwood today, I thought Tim Weatherald was outstanding in an otherwise balanced team effort, and special mention to first gamer Mark Evans who, after taking a little time to adjust, did some very polished things including one very good running goal in the 3rd quarter.

I thought Doyle and Dawes performed very well in the ruck as well, giving us regular first use of the footy .... which helps.

Scott Borlace got through his match in the ressies okay, and Aaron Kite booted 5 goals after half time playing at FF.

That's Cook JAS, not Captain Hook. ;)

Walker sensational, 7 goals, goal assists, great defensive work. Will surely be taken next week, what a joke that he was even in the SANFL anyway.

South are really, really bad.

Damn, knew I'd get some wrong. Couldn't find a team list anywhere so had to go by ear listening to a mobile via online stream.

Sorry for that Panthers...could one of you check the rest and tell me if any others are wrong and I'll amend them all in one go...cheers.

Awful, awful game. Walker a class (well maybe 2 or 3 classes..) above the other 41 players out there.

The less said about South the better. Very frustrating being a supporter at the moment- Push Sturt last week, playing some good attacking footy in the process. 7 days later, gorgeous weather, against a terrible side, and they serve up an effort like that. 7 goals.

South's forward structure was non existant. Ball carriers would get to the edge of the centre square only to kick out to the flanks repeatedly, often 20 metres to a contest. Really missing Parry in the ruck. Whilst Cockshell is doing an honorable job, he'd be much better utilised at CHF.

Norwood were ok with 3 of their 5 wins have coming against South. Nothing to get too thrilled about.

lastly the umpiring suited the game nicely. Awful. A couple of the umps looked like they were school boys. 8)

That is precisely what Norwood have been doing wrong all season. Holding up the ball across centre, going wide, and kicking short to contests. I have no idea why coaches and/or players think that's the way to go about it.

Wonder why I took the trip down to Norwood today.

Bloody shocking display of football.

Simple skills errors, game plan - non existant (can I say outcoached by a rookie????), disinterseted players wearing south jumpers.....not with it at all today.

I thought Norwood were there for the taking today with all the turmoil at their club over the last few months but full credit to them to come out fighting....something which South lacks. (....and we get told the future is bright) PFFFFT!!!!
