Hi everyone
Glenelg's web site has survey going to get better lights installed at Gliderol Stadium
http://www.glenelgfc.com.au/The more responses the greater case they can take to council re support for the concept.
So Tiger fan or not if you think night footy at the Bay would be awesome take two minutes to complete the forms.
Cheers
PhilH

Done, should have happened a long time ago.
Great place for a night out, especially with footy on!

Put my vote in - the more clubs that can play home games at night the better.

i wonder what the 3 d..kh..d councillors think of that ? the same 3 that are happy to get a free feed at the club though, would be a great atmosphere at the bay & when it happens it should be another step towards having one of the weeks in the finals as night games

Easy fix Bayman, just vote them out at the next election ... a few hundred votes will do it.
I wonder how many of the club's members are in the council area?

I agree with Bayman there. I implore anyone who lives in the Holdfast bay area to vote in the next council election, I know I certainly will be. Two of the most troublesome councillors are in my ward and I will be canvassing the views of other candidates in regards to the lights issue. To have members of council elected by only a couple of hundred people doesnt sit well with me.

Well said LBT ... I wasn't joking, councillors get elected because of apathy in the community and with such low turnouts, a community issue like this is enough to either sway the councillors voting behaviour or to vote them out.
Our friends at Unley should do the same with the recalcitrants on their council.
Just requires a tad of organisation to do it.

Done the form, would love night footy at the Bay, would be awesome.
Drebin lives at Glenelg so I'm sure his vote will be 1 more to help.
Mind you with the way Drebin normally gets home after a Bay game perhaps night footy there might not be a good thing for him! His missus will probably vote against it!

So that's Friday nights at Norwood.
Saturday nights at Glenelg.
And Sunday nights at Unley ?
Wouldn't the blue's council just love that on a Sunday night !

I vote NO
Footy is a traditional day sport
Night footy is OK for the odd game , but not regularly
When your team struggles night footy in the cold weather is offputting
