Hope we don't have to use a round ball.
But carrying knives and letting off flares could be fun.

Here you go Squawk, a bit of a run down from the SANFL web site as to what can be expected for this special round...

SANFL 'be active' MULTICULTURAL ROUND
This week, the SANFL will be staging its inaugural ‘be active’ Multicultural Round
(Saturday, August 1) – a first for a state football league in Australia.
Multicultural Round is about celebrating the diversity among players, volunteers and supporters of South Australian football.
It is also an opportunity for the SANFL to welcome South Australia’s multicultural communities, including recently-arrived migrants, to be involved in Aussie Rules.
You'll notice some differences at your local footy match this week. First, there will be a wide range of spectacular multicultural performers at each ground - from the spectacular Burundian drummers to the entertaining Polish folk dancers to the 40-piece African Peace Choir.
There will also be some new faces in the crowd - be sure to say g'day to the many spectators invited by the SANFL to witness their first game of Aussie Rules.
Lending an international feel to the matchday will be PA announcements in six different languages and the switching of traditional footy fare at some grounds to reflect a more multicultural menu.
Stay tuned for more details and activities to be announced later this week...

Wasn't there a multicultural thing last year??? Or was that just at one club???
I'm sure I remember someone posting photo's from it of some youngsters from obviously different ethnic backgrounds having a game...mostly girls if IIRC.
Regards
JAS

Yeah, I think that was the Eagles JAS who organised some Sudanese boys and girls to be involved with the mini-league at half time, IIRC...

I'm guessing the Gowans boys and Sudjai Cook won't be celebrating this round together then?

Oh Christ, North stuffs things up when we're just doing things in English, imagine what would happen with 5 languages!
Hopefully brattwursts and kranskys are the go on the BBQ!

I guess that's why the SANFL has programmed us to play at Alberton this week

Interestingly nephew (Jason Porplyzia) and uncle (Andy Porplycia) in that side (and incidentally Big Phil their surnames are spelt differently).
I'm a little surprised Rucci didn't find room for Andy in the 18.
