Just caught the last 15 mins or so ... I'm guessing the Bloods were behind all day.

Will be interesting to read the match summary but in any case a fantastic win after dropping their bundle last week against Sturt.

Won't a Norwood win against North create some new life in the race for 5th spot, although I can't see North imploding to miss out.

Well done Bloods. :ymapplause:

I think that says a lot for Andy Collins that he can turn the side's performance around in a week against quality opposition and having lost Pettigrew, Cupido and Anderson from last week's side. Sensational win.

Hear! Hear!
Think the commentators said 16 games. Nice one Bloods. Even if it doesn't suit NFC.
Everything seems to be falling in place for the Bays. A little breathing space during a bye round.
Now if JC can string a few together as Norwood's interim coach, it's game on for 5th possie.
And history shows what the Legs can do from 5th with backs against the wall.
I know....'Tell 'im he's dreamin'..........(& praying :ympray:)

Better put on the asbestos gloves guys. The keyboards will be hot tonight !

Very well done to the Bloods ! Centrals still the premiership faves though along with Sturt who pounded the Eagles today. The final series could be the best in a long while !

WTF!!!

Are Centrals laying doggo so their odds drift and they can get better odds for their flag win??? Despite the loss I still rate the dogs as faves for the flag as we know they peak for late August, September/October so something must be amiss today. Having said all that well done Westies as you can't argue with beating the flag faves and reigning premiers. You have defiantely done well today and helped your neighbouring Bays out in a big way....

We're still a silly chance for the minor premiership :D :D
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

No way, Bays would have to be flag favourites. The Dogs have (obviously) been the side of the last decade. This season has seen the beginning of the end of that reign. Still a great team, but the psychological dominance is evaporating.

Has the race for fifth spot been thrown wide openwith this result?

Had to do a bit of country driving all day today so listened to the entire game on RPH and thoroughly enjoyed it, great call from DB, John and Kym with BP on the sidelines.
Sounded like an awesome effort by West never giving up despite being 5 goals down at one stage, even though its bad for North I found myself cheering them on!

Any truth to what they said happened in the last quarter?
Kym said that J.Gowans got hit by friendly fire and then threw the ball at his team mate giving a free kick to West which turned into a goal, with Gowans getting plenty from the crowd on the way off wanting to go on with it with someone in the crowd.

North are half a game in the 5 but have 2 games in hand. West v North next week is vital to the bloods.
