Walker kicked 6 in the first half I think. Great future and potential but doesnt work hard enough for me. If he doesnt mark it he seems to be gone, needs more facets to his game IMO.

seems to be the story most weeks, they are not far away but again watch the knives come out for Trevor Hill, hell he must be doing something right to get the side into winning positions, but they continually fall over at the post. Huge game for the Legs next week, lose that and i think they can kiss 2009 away

All I can say is thank God for red time in the first half, with Centrals dominating the end of the first and second quarterrs. At times in the first half they were very wasteful with possessions, kicking too many rainmakers, slipping left right and centre, giving Norwood too much space, and letting Taylor Walker run riot.
The second half was some of the best football Centrals have played this year. They fought hard, they niggled, they harrassed Norwood into turnovers, and in the final quarter, we put it on the scoreboard.
Our defense kept Taylor Walker out of the game in the second half, and Norwood pretty much stoped scoring.
So Norwood choke against us yet again - this one the worst blowing a 35ish point lead to lose by 17 points (a 52ish point turnaround). This must be putting some psychological scars on the team now, and their belief that they can beat us would surely be badly damaged for some time now.

So Hill is responsible for the winning position but not the losing results ... The words Cake, Eat and Too come to mind.

Im not sure that it is the worst one, and if it makes you feel better, the Bays own us mentally aswell ... Will be interesting to see how long the mental damage lasts.

Absolutely, especially since that was the 2nd lucky escape for the year against the Legs.
Far from being mentally scarred, I would have thought that the Legs go into the next encounter against the Dogs full of confidence.

What a come back a 51 point turn around the Dogs had everything going against them, Craigy drops Taylor Walker to help out his old club Norwood well done Craigy ya nearly pulled it off, we were lucky he only kicked 6 goals in the first half and also passed one off.
We beat Walker in the end and also the umps, listened to the rph broadcast at the game and the commentators espoused the same opinion i had a woeful display especially by our friend Williams.
Great effort by the Redlegs but not good enough in the last quarter.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can stealing defeat from the jaws of victory three times in a row give a side absolute confidence

All bullshit aside? Central won because We scored more. Football is a simple game, get the ball, score more than the opposition, you win. **** the analysis.

Not sure you beat Walker, but you held him after half time - of course helped by the "don't go Taylor Walker as they'll double team, look for the other tall options" edict from the coaching staff. F*** that, Walker is a class above, kick him the ball and if they double team gets some crumbers at his feet in case he can't mark it.
As for the umps, I don't know either side can really claim they were hard done by, it was just rubbish decision after rubbish decision both ways, sometimes you'd swear the game would be better off without umpires - not sure how it work, but at least we wouldn't have to witness rubbish displays like that.
As a Norwood fan, I'm off to find the answers at the bottom of a bottle of red, I'm not sure I'll find them but at least it'll numb the pain.

Well I am staggered that people say Williams is the best SANFL umpire. Doesnt say much for the standard if he is the best.

For an umpire, Richard Williams makes a good Elvis impersonator...
But you're right, if people reckon he's the SANFL's best than SANFL umpiring is in crisis.

The rph commentary must have been selective on what decisions they complained about, there were average decisions go both ways. Both teams recieved very poor decisions up forward and down back. I don't think it has any baring on the game. As for trevor hill, those who bag us for bagging him, how many of you would want him coaching your team because i don't like him coaching mine.
