Say what you like mate, its brought up on the SAFooty forum so that other SANFL sides fans can have their say, otherwise no doubt it would just stay on the SAFC forum.
Although it will never happen, I do wish we could get Phil Carman on staff before you do though! He would be exactly the right person to mentor Clay Sampson to take the team to the next level!

Noone in the south associates with South Adelaide who were traditionally based close to town or at St Marys.
The SFL gets more people to a big game than South do for a game!
The South would have associated with a brand new entity based on the SFL and GSFL similar to what Central did 50 years ago but as its a transplanted team I cant see the club going anywhere for the next 50 years to be truthful.
Central took almost 40 years with the backing of their community, South dont have that so will take a lot longer.
Their only chance at some immediate climbing up the ladder would be buying up big but that could have detrimental effects down the track similar to the 90s.
But a big name or two might draw some interest from the locals like Delrae did.
Just my thoughts.
