Should be a good day. Westies expecting about 2000.

I'd love to be there but can't sadly.

Curtain raiser match is Independents v Mid Murray.

I'll be heading along for this one as well, looking forward to not only seeing how Westies go against a more fancied opponent, but also in how Sturt react after 2 dissapointing performances in a row.

Is that a realistic crowd expectation Dogwatcher ?

I assume the senior Riverland competition is having a week off with representative games on ?

I'm not sure whether it is realistic or not.
I can't remember what the Centrals v West game drew a couple of years ago.
No local games are being played.
However, the fact it's at Waikerie and the Riverland public are a very parochial lot unwilling to travel out of their town unless necessary, could see local numbers down.
I would imagine though, as Waikerie is an hour closer than Berri, there may be more come from Adelaide this time around.

Really need to pick our game up this week after our last two matches. West have certainly proved they are no easy beats this year and we'll need to have the right attitude going into this one.
There should be plenty of us going up to watch the game and alot of the lads are camping across the road at the caravan park (feel sorry for the town with the cheer squad staying up there for the night!).
Should make for a good weekend.

Heading up with the family, few nights at Barmera - good timing with school holidays - woo hoo!

Shame you won't be there DW - I was hoping to get some tips on those op shops!

Just letting all know that there are still seats available on the bus the club is taking up to Waikerie on Saturday. There are around 30 seats available priced at $25 per seat, leaving House Bros Oval, Unley at around 10am, and returning at around 6.30pm after the presentations.
