Rnd 14 - Central v Norwood @ Elizabeth

So after Norwood more than likely blew their season away against West last week, they now face the toughest test in the SANFL, Central at Hamra Homes Oval.
The Dogs, riddled with injury concerns and not in full form, did enough to get the points over the Panthers down at Noarlunga and would have to go into this game as favourites.

The Dogs will hopefully be boostered by the return of their co-captain Paul Thomas...
An interesting piece on him from the Messenger website...

The Magarey Medallist has missed the past six weeks with a broken finger and has gone to great lengths to ensure his recovery time is as short as possible.
Providing he gets the all clear from the hand specialist this week, Thomas will strap two fingers on his left hand and wear the fingerless protective glove with velcro straps against the Redlegs.
``I’ve got to give myself the best amount of confidence to go to the specialist and say `this is how it feels’,’’ Thomas said.
``Because I want to play against Norwood.’’
Thomas trialled a two-finger glove made from wetsuit material and an AFL-style full fingered glove at training in recent weeks.
But he decided both were not suitable and brough the fingerless glove from E-Bay for $40.
``I did ball work on Wednesday night for the first time,’’ he said.
``And I went at the ball and had heaps of confidence.’’

Central could turn up at half time and still beat us. I'll be very surprised if Norwood wins another game this season.

South Adelaide asked for devine intervention last week and almost got there, maybe the man upstairs is getting sick of the Dogs winning and we may see a bit of an upset ?

That's why I'm an atheist ...
Anyway, can't see the Legs getting within 10 goals of the Doggies, but I hope I'm wrong.

The good Lord himself will only help those that help themselves. On that basis Centrals by plenty.

C'mon CP, you got within a point last time when the Doggies we going strong ... now they've got injury concerns.
With the apparent announcement from your CEO that Hill is there for the rest of the season, this should spur the team to a most unlikely but memorable victory.
Could it happen? ... yep, you're right, no f***ing way!
Revised: Dogs by 120 points.

Didn't look at your profile. I assumed that you were a Norwood supporter (sorry). No wonder you are godless, you don't have red, white or blue in your colours

That's OK ... every time I drive down Port Rd I look at the chimney upside down.
FWIW, I'd support the Doggies (or anyone else)
before the Redlegs, but that aint ever going to happen anyway.

Has there ever been a SANFL team forfeit in history of the competiton???? Norwood should consider this option!
