Based on the inconsistancies of the Redlegs performances thus far and an improvement from the Bloods, I'll tip Westies in a close one.

West Adelaide by 14 points.

West Adelaide will be playing the worst team in the competition right now and if they are fair dinkum will win comfortably. I'm just wondering if I can muster enough interest to turn up. All Westies have to do is make an effort, that's usually more than we can handle.

That's the spirit. Leave a team when they're down. See how you feel after 4 spoons in a row!

a good chance to get 2 points we need a win but Norwood is like the power you don't know which side is going to show up. We need to go in with 2 ruckmen also. IF westies should win it will be by under 15 points.

You're right Strawb, you never know which Norwood we're about to see ... If West don't give them time and space with the ball and apply solid pressure, Norwood will make the mistakes they've become famous for.

Tough one to tip, but West's "honesty" and effort has become a lot more consistent this year, so you would have to lean toward them.

We know what WA will do
Its what NW will do that will dictate the result

NW only played one day game at the Parade in 2009
Thats the day they gave the bulldogs a fright
If they play that way they will win in a canter

WA can win 1-15pts
NW can win 1-65 pts

You're right though, anything could be possible with this one.

Just to confirm

Is this a day game?

My footy tipping records show it as a night game

Might have to change my arrangements....

Definately a day game, it is the stand alone game on the Saturday so will be covered by ABC TV (and 5RPH on radio) while the other 3 games are all being played on Sunday.

that was last time they played   ;) however i agree with ah norwood are the worst team in the league & west are a team that have a crack but when in front go defensive but if west turn up with an attacking game for 4 full quarters they'll win, norwoods only hope is if west get 4 or 5 goals up during the third term & then go defensive
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Went to that match - one of the best finishes I've been to. And I bought the DVD from the SANFL too. I didn't realise it was on TV that day as it was a sunday iirc and should have taped it.

I have a gut feeling that Norwood just might’ve been stung into kicking a cricket score
against West Adelaide this week at Cooper’s.

:prayer: (He said genuflecting before any & all deities, totems and sacraments) [-o<

We do have the cattle, but as usual, the team’s ability to perform as required is totally
dependant upon the usual criteria, i.e. player selections, placements, combinations,
rotations, genuine motivation, accuracy, effort duration and creative timely adjustments
by coaching staff, when required. Little of which has occurred this year, for reasons too
obvious for words.

Most, if not all of the above, is needed to achieve a good score against this very honest
Westies outfit. A solid win by West will require NFC undergo immediate and savage
major surgery if this ‘train wreck’ masquerading as season 2009 is to be salvaged.

If the reverse of my prediction occurs and the ‘Bloods’ have a big win, Westies
supporters should come back to the Norwood R.S.L. if they fancy the possibility of
being an eye-witness at a real live crucifixion.
