How the Hell is 2009 going to pan out?

Postby Wedgie » Sun May 17, 2009 2:09 am

You'd confidently say Centrals top and South bottom.
A little less confidently you'd say Glenelg second as they're around the mark despite not playing close to their best which is a good sign
But what the hell is going to happen between 3rd spot and 8th spot?

Does it matter? Central premiership, nothing else matters.

They just need Port to make the finals & give them a real contest.

Yes it matters as it makes a difference to a lot of us as to how we spend our September, either interstate or in South Australia, which brings me onto another subject which I'll start a topic for now...

Whaaaaaat!!!!. Are you being serious?

1) Who says CDFC are going to win the flag.
2) So it wouldn't matter if the Legs make a GF this year

But is that not the point Wedgies making. Centrals look like they are going to be around the mark again this year and South look gone already, but the rest all look like they can beat each other so as a North fan, I think we have as good a chance of anyone, but I wouldn't write of Norwood or even Port at this stage and if you make the five it seems to me, anything can happen this year.

Despite being a million miles away you're on the money IMHO, the only team I'd write out of finals contention at this stage is South, as far as the rest of the spot go up to 3rd anything can happen.

Crystal ball time, ie, my best guess with a long way to go.

Dogs, with a game or two to Sturt, then Glenelg and North.

Port looked like a top five side tonight. A win over West in a fortnight puts them 1.5 ''losses'' off WWT if the Eagles can't beat Centrals.

Top 3 from 2008 isnt going to change I would have thought.

If the Bays can replicate the form on Friday night they can push the Dogs.....huge IF and doesnt matter if they do it in every game there is only one game that counts this year..

Would love to see Westies make the 8, would be good for the comp to see a team on the rise like them
