has the tempo & standard improved (again) after round 1

well after watching 2 games over the weekend i think that both the speed & skill level & overall product of the sanfl has improved in all areas of football
for those that went what do you think ?

I'm surprised you would read that out of the Bays game baysman... I thought there was a noticeable drop in tempo after half-time of that match. Don't reckon the standard was there for either side, but I guess it's early days in the season. Last year's round 1 game wasn't much better.

I thought the standard at Elizabeth was very good on Saturday night. Fast and tough from the outset. Skills were pretty good, apart from the Dogs kicking for goal, and McGregor missed an easy one. Good to see for a round 1 game.
I went to the Port/Essendon game on Sunday (some mates barrack for port). There was a lot of poor disposal and turn overs in that game.
