If its true that the SANFL really does want an 8 team competition, which are the two sides then most likely to merge?

West n Sturt to merge, become the Blue Bloods, and play at Richmond, with a game or two at dog shite park.

Purely on location the first two teams to knock off the list would be centrals and south. To have a club in all regions of the city you would have to think that it would come from Westies, Eagles, Sturt, Norwood or Glenelg.

Sturt and Norwood. The merger would allow West and Glenelg to expand east instead of south.

Which means they would be able to enhance their stock of juniors, without actually having to spend money developing them.

Isn't that a twist? :ymbringiton:

Don't worry Soj and Blueandwhite, we'll never merge with you, we'll just take you over....

I mean all your good players either end up playing for us or live in our zone...

Nah Glenelg and North are going to merge

Going to be called the North Glenelg Brothers in black gold and red (with a token bit of white 8) )
Sponsorship will come from ATSIS
They will play at Glenelg (we all know the NAFC board want to leave prospect) except for two games a year

Picture it the Groggies and Snouts standing side by side - brothers in arms - in front of Snouts Bar or the TAJ...

Punky will be in a conundrum - he will have to learn to hate half of himself....

  ;)

Got a better Idea, why dont South, North and Centrals merge, we could all be happy wearing Blue and White, and Red and White and be all a happy Blue Red and White family

ah Tassie, I wish you could have heard what one of our "better" players who resides in your zone said about the bays at our B&F.
You would have been in tears.
