Good luck to Hayden Skipworth!!! I heard him interviewed on 5AA prior to the state game and he really has worked hard to earn it. Good to see that Essendon have decided to give him a go, lets hope he gets some games and does well!

Chris Schmidt redrafted to the Crows
Danny Meyer redrafted to the power.
Greg Bentley redrafted to Carlton hard luck Sturt.
Christian bock to Essendon. Hard luck Eagles.
Tom Allwright to Geelong. Had signed with Sturt.
Sturt and Eagles would be hating this draft.

Meyer and Carr back on the Bays list, not that we'll see Carr though unless injury or a major loss of form strike which for Josh's sake I hope doesn't occur.
It will put pressure on Tommy Logan for a spot though given he plays a similar game to Josh Carr. Hope Tommy can stay where he wants to play though for his sake.
Disappointed for Tommy Holmes that he didn't get picked up though, thought he adapted to a new role in the side for his last two games this years which showed some versatility to his game.

Agreed about Holmes. Probably his Gf performance that let him down. He had a shocker.

Well done to Skipworth and that is certainly a blow for the eagles hopes for 2009. Also some bad news for Sturt but at least they still have a ruckman

Am I reading this right ?
The Crows think there is no one in Adelaide worth drafting ? They have to go interstate and overseas for rookies !
Do all the work and in 3 years it is bye bye I want to go home !
Will they ever learn ?

Why is he a terrible pick up UK? IMHO the kid can really play and will be a very good hbf or bp player who has all the time in the world when he has the ball and has silky smooth skills. I think he could fill the role massie has played for the crows.
