I have just been informed by email that Chris Brown will be the U/18's coach for 2009. He has a proven track record with the junior coaching and of course coached the last U/17's flag.

Congratulations to Chris, I'm sure he will do a good job, the Double Blues have had a strong Underage program for a few years now, well done.

What about the Magoos job now that Stormin Norman is taking over the league ? Will it be Donald Dickie or Barnaby French perhaps ???

I always respected Seamus as a player, would give 100% effort for the club and the jumper...

Would be a good appointment, or as sturtpeter would put it.... "appropriate" :D

Not a big call, considering they were the U17 premiers this year and should have the same players available in the U18 competition.

Good luck to Paul, he'll be a good coach.

That now means that both Glenelg and Sturt's League and Reserves teams will be coached by ex-West Adelaide players.

When you take our drafted players into account, I'd say we've been a bit too generous to other clubs instead of ourselves over the years :(

That is possibly the greatest news that planet earth has ever heard, this is no doubt the most brilliant appointment since JFK was elected into American presidency.

Truly appropriate
