Why do people find it necessary to compare the achievements of those at SANFL level to the AFL?
Why do people have to have had success at AFL level for their achievements to be validated?
Why can't people accept that the SANFL is a different competition to what it was two decades ago and denigrate those who are achieving in it?

It's very annoying.
The world has changed, this competition has changed.
It's moved on and accepted that fact.
It's not trying to compete with the AFL but provide an alternative.

Get over it people!

If you really love the SANFL, which is why I assume you post here and not Big Footy, if you love your club's heritage, then stop having a crack at it.

Some of you will know who I'm looking at.

I love Geelong but my love for Norwood is as deep as my love for my family, and I know the AFL is the "big show", but SANFL is the TRUE show for me!

I'll be just as passionate for the SANFL when Central's run finishes.
Easy to say now I guess.

I couldn't agree with you more. I love Adelaide Crows but I have a real passion for the Eagles and when it comes down to a choice between the two I will always choose the Eagles. I sacrificed 3 Crows games this season to watch my Eags and that was in a season when we didn't perform all that well.
