ccl, I thought you might have known his intentions for next year!

I agree that I hope he stays here next year; he still gets next years money that was part of his contract, so I wouldn't think that would be an issue with the Eagles.

never discussed his intentions about next year with him
he would be a huge lose to us if he does retire
I have a sneaky suspicion it could be for health reasons
I know he suffers from concussion headaches
hell of a nice fellow he is
quiet but very friendly and approachable

He should be one of the Eagles number one priorities for next season. Our record of holding on to former AFL players in recent years has been shocking.
He is a very good player and would be excellent to have around the club.

dont think he would hold a press conference to say he wants to be traded, must be retirement, and ifs thats the case i would seriously doubt him playing SANFL

One of the worst players to play AFL in my opinion.Hard ball count for career 0.

My opinion is that your opinion is a load of BS. Was a good player for a long time for the crows. Sadly the game has passed him by. Anyone who can take a strong mark under a lot of attention as a teenager is a worthy AFL footballer. It was obvious why the crows stuck by him as long as they did. And as a spectator in the outer in 1999 I used to marvel at how strong his hands were at such a young age.
In 10 years the game may in fact require guys like this. The game won't get faster and faster forever. Rugby got faster and faster until they found a bloke named Jonah who wasn't the fastest winger but didn't need to run around anyone.

I still marvel at his 2001 GF performance for the Eagles.

Matthew Pavlich doesnt have a high opinion of Mcgregor either.

Serviceable player for the crows and as Graham said- just ended up a bit slow for afl and possibly even sanfl footy. Give him a break uk. every contested mark he took (which was more than many crows) was technically a hard ball get

150 plus games at AFL level is a great return for Kenneth, yes the game went past him but he was always solid and had a genuine crack. Hopefully most ignorant supporters dont remember him for his last 20 games when he looked shot for most of them. He has been fantastic for the Eagles and we hope he continues with us...his preparation and attitude are great for the juniors to observe. Mind you if the Crows stuck him at Full Forward this year he would have had a better return than Tippett but the investment in youth was correct.

read between the lines guys.. kenny would have been sacked but then the crows would have to include is salary on nexts years salary cap . but must have asked TOLD kenny to retire so they wouldnt have to have this burden upon them .
a true competitor and made the most of his abilities.

I hope for the SANFL's sake that he plays a few more years with the eagles and gives back to the club that has helped him over the years. Well done Kenny on a good career at AFL level but sadly the game has become to quick for your bodies capabilities.
