Totally pathetic Norwood

Just as bad as the record loss to Centrals last year

I hope Trevor Hill resigns or is sacked.
Too many embarassing peformances under his reign, he MUST go.

Great win!!! Great win for Roo's and Ty Allen's 50th games.
Looking forward to reading spelly's verdict!!!
Damm I wish I was there to soak this win up but am sitting here at internet cafe, skulling biers down and cheering in my GFC shirt, hat and stubbie holder. That reminds me if anyone ever comes to Europe bring your own stubbie holder as they don't sell them here!!

Why would we post away, Spelly? We're waiting for you. If I didn't have an interest in footy stats, I'd be suicidal right now.

And after Port's crap game against Norwood a few weeks back i wont be saying much either ;)

Very, very difficult to believe Norwood's scoreline though given the quality players in their side such as Aish, Trotter, Vlatko, Lower, and Campbell.

Is Glenelg's defence really that good

The Bays midfielld hardly let the ball into the Norwood forward line and when it did get there it was almost always under pressure.

Norwood's three bad losses in 2008 have been Sturt by 60+, Centrals by 70+ and the Bays by 80+.
And they're ranked 4th at present.
Hmmm, top three then daylight for 2008.

ST...

P.S. a truly great result for all us Norwood haters, eh REB...

It just doesn't get any better then!
Cheers for the good news.

Bay fans tonight must have somewhat erased memories of the terrible flogging* out there a couple of seasons ago - I think they went scoreless in the second half that night. Rarely ever see the two book-end quarters scoreless in any grade!

Hooray for the ground announcer at the Parade.

At the conclusion of the game he turned on his microphone, said:

"Well, that was sh.t"

then turned the microphone off again!

That might be the best quote of the year simply for being honest!

I will say this having seen my team play some big time shit house games, every team has a real bad day out at sometime.

Glenelg are a very good side and obvioulsy played as a top 3 flag contender should but in all honesty Norwood just had a bad night out and that happens from time to time. Next week is another game and the best thing Nwd fans, players, officials can do is forget this game and plan for a win next week. You surely couldn't be that bad next week?

The talk of sacking coaches is a little premature, after all surely his game plan wasn't to end with a result like that? Remember no matter what the coach does or doesn't do, good or bad, it is only the 18 players on the field who can execute the plan. I don't think I read any grizzles about team selection this week for Nwd considering their previous 2 weeks so the coach can't even be blamed for dropping players or not picking players etc etc.
