Then you've also got current League umpire, Simon, who is also related - son and brother respectively.

Is still listed on the wwtfc website as currently listed player. Maybe CD could shed further light on the subject.

I hope this is untrue. I reckon he could be a pretty good player in the future and handy this year as a depth player. He'd be one of those that would have to make every effort and leave no stone unturned to be a good league player, so maybe the effort is too great?

This would be the answer - this source got his motive wrong for the trip. If he had left, I would thought it have been made public by now. This is a good reason for the bye; it gives a chance for interstate recruits to visit home.

Confirmed. Joel Mackie and David Biagi both have left the Eagles permanently. Mackie a loss, potentially a very useful player, Biagi, from what I've seen, no loss and we're saving ourselves a heap of money.

Agreed on both counts. No big deal.

For every Mackie, Biagi, Bolton and Toia you get a McKenzie, Powell, Treeby and Passador.

Yeah, I didn't see much out of the ordinary from either - and Biagi was supposed to be the biggest recruit!

I think Biagi was not fit and the eagles chased him for 2 years!! Surely if you come you give the place a go.
Mackie looked better but .He had one knee op not so long ago before joining the Eagles .
Sorry i hate it when u recruit players that leave mid season .just hope they do not return via another SANFL club like Toia and Beveridge!!

I take it Couch is still here ?
