Can Tim do it? The countup to 300

Although having missed the first 6 matches this season, can Tim Weatherald reach the 300 game mark, before he retires for good?
If he does, he is likely to be the last SANFL player to do so. Here is his year by year tally:

1995: 5 games
1996: 20 games 13 goals 6 behinds
1997: 21 games 17.14
1998: 22 games 13.10
1999: 20 games 8.11
2000: 23 games 25.25
2001: 16 games 13.11
2002: 23 games 24.21
2003: 18 games 16.15
2004: 23 games 24.18
2005: 21 games 14.11
2006: 19 games 8.8
2007: 21 games 13.9
2008: 1 game
Total: 253 games, 188 goals 159 behinds
I think the Budget credits him with another match as a State game.

He could reach this in another two seasons, meaning he will be 33 by the end of the 2010 season.
There are another 53 minor round matches in this time (plus any finals), so he can afford to miss 6 in this time.

Would be interesting to know how many B grade games he has played?

I think he's only 30 - with good form there may be plenty of footy to come. Good luck to him too.

By my reckoning Ginevar has 252 games to go to get to 300 - as coach that is....

I remember when 48 games at the Bay meant three coaches in and out the door...

And then the number of coaches in the last 5 years at Port vs the Bays.

Oh, and the ladder as well.

Do you mean 1990 or since 1995 for the two sessions he attended as one of Symo's assistants before he took over from Hookesy at 5AA???

Been done to death Fatal, almost as many as the LPRs have had guernseys since Cornesy left the bay....

And just for good measure the number of premierships won by each side, and the number Port v Glenelg grand finals lost by Glenelg and by Port...

We've only had three coaches since Cornesy - Hodgeman, Williams and Mickan - the rest have been mini-buses.....

I'd say Sheedy, AhChee and maybe Clayton would be the best candidates to reach 300 games..

And Fatal,,, I hope your next 4 kids are strawberry blondes.
