At last the waiting is over. Treated the alarm clock to new batteries  Looking forward to listening online again and hopefully some gameday banter on the forums.
Bring it on.

Go the Legs

Perhaps due to AFL selection (or lack thereof) I reckon the Legs can keep the Sturt forwards under reasonable check ... It's the midfields that worry me most, reckon Sturt have a few more goals in theirs than we do, hopefully not!!!

Norwood are going to have to play 4 solid quarters of footy, as witnessed by what happenend at Marion on Thursday night.
Can't wait to stand up on Coopers Hill in amongst the enemy, share the company of some good mates and hopefully cheer the Double Blues onto victory! 8)

Looking forward to heading to the Parade also, should be a good crowd, hoping for 8000-10000 although the weather might turn a few away. GO YOU BLUES!!!

Will Tim Weatherald's departure from the club be unsettling to the DBs?

Should be a great season opener.

Gotta go in harder than that, Squawk, looking forward to the night. Enjoy yourself...but not too much. Should be a close game first one up.

with sam miles needing a shoulder reconstruction an out for the year, one of his mates from sturt is more then likely going to miss a year with a knee recon,
as sturts injury lists keeps growing

Was a genuine question. Sturt will be a bit like the RAAF flying their missing man formation IMHO. Tim's absence wont be insurmountable, but the fact it was so close to the season opener may mean it has a lingering effect into round 1.

Expect it should be a close game....looking forward to it! Chambers will be keen to bag a few as he didn't do as well against the Legs last year as he did against other teams.

Chambers is not our only key forward!
Good luck stopping them all!
You blokes just make sure there's plenty of Coopers flowing up there on the hill!

I'll be there, really hope we can get at the very least 6k in attendance.

I say put Lower on Chambers, that'll keep the big man quiet.

Sturt seem to be getting a few injuries to start their season, but I expect that they will still be too good for Norwood - 21-30 points is my tip!
