"The First Bounce" sponsors SA Footy!

I went out to the Elizabeth Shopping Centre to have a look at "The First Bounce" store and was stoked to meet Jamie, top bloke who loves a chat about footy especially SANFL, great to see the first shop in years with part dedicated to SANFL clubs and especially great to see the State Guernsey.

Jamie agreed today to sponsor SAFooty (pay all web costs for a year) as well as deliver 10% discount to all forum users (and cheersquads/grogsquads), go in there and ask for Jamie.
He has a large range of AFL gear, Soccer gear, Union and League gear and SANFL gear.
His prices are at least equal if not better than other stores (I did a quick comparison of his AFL gear and it appeared quite a bit cheaper than Rebel, AFL Store, etc) and you can throw on the 10% discount on top of that! For eg I saw a Crows polo for $40.00 which I got for Mrs Wedgie, I'd seen it as high as $60 in other stores, with the additional discount it went from great value to awesome value!! ($40 - discount = price for us!)

I'll be putting a banner up for his shop next to the SAFooty banner soon and will put up further details about the store.
For those who don't know where it is, its located in the Elizabeth Shopping Centre, he's on the Southern Side of the Food Court (I didn't even have to search, just got something to eat and noticed the shop!). There may be some more shops in the pipeline soon (possibly Colonnades and West Lakes) so stay tuned.
I can't recommend this shop (or Jamie) more highly.

Jamie is also willing to sell gear by mail at minimal/no extra cost and will take credit card details over the phone, he'll have a website up and running soon so stay tuned. I'll be putting up full details as to how he can be contacted in the next couple of days.

More guernseys are on their way but he currently has a good stock of North, Sturt, Central (with new logo), Norwood (home and away), West, Eagles, South and State guernseys which are going like hotcakes. The supplier's had issues with the Port guernseys but he's quite a lot of interest shown in them for when they come in. Also some small SANFL footys and kids guernseys also. Great to see SANFL gear together in a sports shop again, I don't think I've seen that in about 16 years, we really do need to support Jamie in this venture as he's very keen on the SANFL and promoting it.

Nice one Wedgie, and a warm thankyou to Jamie for his support ... Elizabeth is quite a distance from my work and home, but should a store open at West Lakes or as soon as the online side of things is up and running then I'm happy to consider "The First Bounce" as my sports store of choice!!

I actually found the store quite by accident myself a couple of weeks ago. Right inside the entrance near the cinemas. I was impressed by the variety of gear available at both levels of football. Much better than the AFL stores around. Will definitely be returning to purchase some items this footy season. Many thanks to Jamie for his sponsorship of the forum.

And Jimmy, you'll be happy to know that Jamie is a Sturt supporter!
His wife has better taste though. ;)
Its not coincidence that the North and Sturt guernseys get the most prominent spot in the store. :D

Just rang Jamie in regards to the new Norwood guernsey. Very helpful guy, I'll be in there next week to pick one up with my 10% discount! Good work to all those involved in setting this up.

Just ask for Jamie (all of the staff should now be aware of it) and advise him/them you're a SAFooty forumite, that'll do!

Does the west jumper have the league and club logo on it?

I'd like to buy one, but I don't want some dumb **** Crows supporter yelling "essendon suck!" at me from his barina.

Thanks Wedgie, but just another question. Did you talk to him about getting a hold of the heritage jumpers, or are there no plans to make these? And who is the supplier?

Yes I did, he said heritage guernseys and guernseys like North's Darwin guernsey could be ordered in but this would depend on deman for them.
I'm not sure what sort of demand he'd require but I'll follow it up.

I don't think previous heritage guernseys would be availble (will follow that up too) but guernsey's from now onwards shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Guys
Fantastic news I'll definatly take a drive up norf to have a look. Lets not forget Gerry from At The Toss Of A Coin (on Unly Rd) who has been stocking sanfl gear (and much more) for years. He also has a good network of contacts and will try to find specific items you may be after. On top of which he's a good bloke, dispite supporting Centrals and West Ham!
