Disappointing to lose Miles. He got the best out of himself for the last two seasons and was valuable in the ruck - out performing all the others on the Eagles list as 2nd ruckman to Parry last season. Hasn't got the upside of others on our list though so hopefully another (Redden/Hoban etc.) grabs the opportunity and both parties are better off.

CDFC not interested in The Vass. Spoke to The KEG today, more than happy with the Tassie signing & O'Sullivan's progress so far.

Whether Trotter is injury prone or not is possibly a harsh comment but one thing that is certain, is that he's NO "XXXXing champion".

How does putting CKs obvious implication about Todd Miles in upper case make it more accurate exactly?

Even with the added accuracy it still reads to me like North have signed one or both of the Proclaimers.

Todd Miles will be a handy pick up for North, most Eagles supporters thought he always had a crack even though he is not blessed with a lot of natural ability. Coach Godden wanted to develop him as a CHB last year but this was beyond him but he always did a good job in ruck and he could push forward and back.
At least this coach is honest with his players, he informed Todd that he was not envisaged to be in the best Eagles team and he gave him the option of pursueing his career elsewhwere....Ronnie would have just stopped talking to him and let him wither in the seconds until he decided to go play in the country halfway during the season.

What part of premiership coach do you not understand?

Godden's second half tactics lost the Preliminary Final for the Eagles but I've yet to see the knives out for him.

i was just making it obvious for those that didn't pick up on it.....i for one don't pick out every 'clue' that's posted, which means that those who wasn't sure got the clue that 'miles' was the player in question, but i'll humbly apologise for trying to help

No need to apologise and I fully understand you were trying to make it more obvious, I just don't get how it is more accurate? :?
That makes no sense.

ok, sorry wrong terminology, (i thought standingout 'miles' made it the clue in the sentence & therefore more accurate to those that wasn't sure) (but i knew what i meant)

Eagle supporters understand every part of the premiership coach and it is quite right to say his communication skills, especially with the senior players were poor........there is the possibility if we had another coach we might have won more premierships, this is only speculation, just as topsywaldron's insinuation that a premiership coach shouldn't be criticised. Eagle supporters saw it many times when Ron let players rot in the reserves without being upfront with them. Totally support jackals comments.

Be assured Ferret and other Eagles supporters, Ron is not letting players rot down South nor not providing sufficient communication to all players, his quest for talent identification is relentless and if you've got that plus commitment Ron will have ya.

I actually don't care that much, I just find it ironic that Eagles fans are still bagging Ron when the current Eagles coach messed up so dramatically in their last game and cost them a spot in the GF.

Imagine if Ron had done the same thing.

Ron Fuller was an interested onlooker at Crows training down at Max Basheer Reserve when I drove past this morning...

Obviously checking out the recent draftees to Adelaide and which player South are going to pick in the upcoming mini-draft (after the PS and Rookie Draft next Tuesday)
